Never scrub. Always blot.

Take Caution!!

The golden rule when spot cleaning your carpet in between professional cleanings is to never scrub, always blot. Scrubbing will push the spot more  into the fibers of the carpet and make it hard for JP Carpet Cleaning to remove. It's not impossible but it is definitively hard to get out. First, get up as much of the spill as possible the blot the rest when you have removed as much as you can. Then sprinkle with baking soda or salt, this will absorb more. When it is completely dry vacuum up. If there is any residue take some warm water and a very little dish soap blot it up.
